Your goal should be to even out your top and bottom, and add some height. So, try darker colors on the bottom, lighter colors on the top to balance your figure out. Monochromatic suits add height, so if you choose one, make sure there is plenty of detailing to draw the eye up, like lapels, pockets, buttons, etc...

Knee length skirts work best on petite women, try pencil or A-lines to flatter your hips. Nothing with ruffles, tiers, patterns, or anything else to add bulk or draw the eye.

Avoid jackets that hit at the hips. They give you a horizontal line that adds bulk and makes you look wider. Instead, look for shorter waist length jackets to keep the attention on your top half, or a longer fitted 3/4 jacket that hits mid-thigh to help add curves and balance hips. You could also try a 3/4 sleeve to keep the attention on your top half. Wider necklines will add some width to your shoulders, giving you a more balanced shape.

For pants, look for straight leg styles to balance out your hips. Fitted, flared, and tapered styles will only emphasise your hips. You also want flat front pants; no pleats, wide belts or waistlines, detailing on pockets, or anything else to add bulk or draw the eye.

Remember, no matter what you choose, make sure it fits right. When pants or jackets are too long, it looks sloppy and makes you look even shorter. Jacket sleeves should hit at the base of your wrist when your arms are relaxed at your side; they shouldn't fall over your hand. Pants should stop at the top of your foot or the bottom of your ankle, they shouldn't fall to the floor at a length you can walk on. If you can't find items in the Missie's section that fit right, try the Petites. Or get things hemmed at a seamstress after you buy them. It's better to have a few things that fit and look great than a closet full of ill fitting and/or too large clothing.

I would say a bit shorter skirt...few inches above the knee... try going with a higher heels anywhere from 3"-4" if you can. It will help to elongate the legs and make you appear to be taller.

hi. i believe that the fulfillment of a haircut/type ordinarily relies upon on the favourite of the stylist/cutter and the willingness of the guy to guard a coiffure. considering that good short haircuts in a lot of situations contain some styling, in case you do not imagine you are able to save up with that, i'd recommend wondering about protecting some length.

a short skirt, or an A-line skirt paired with a sexy sheer top under a blazer. if you're not overweight, you can get away with almost anything... even if you are quite short.
