murder is illegal. Do you think we could convince Bush to make this war illegal? Well we will keep trying...

Besides, I hope you aren't comparing Bush to a murderer, are you? Are these two situations similar enough? Maybe we could stop the killling where we can, like in this avoidable war.

There would be the biggest outcry of all Americans if that was on TV every day and I really think that there should be something on every News Outlet in this country for everyone to see and then
everyone should write their Senators and Representatives about
the murder rate in the USA and plus all of the auto accidents and deaths and injuries that occur every day. I personnally would not
call US Society a dismal failure yet, but I think there should be a
educational program started to educate people on the dangers that they are facing.

Where have you been? Americans around the country hate the murder rate. But, think here: most murders are caused by family members, friends and alcohol or drug addled killlers. And in this matter, America is a dismal failure - a murder rate many times higher than any other western country. It is tragic.
To carry your dumb analogy farther, we should all be screaming at car companies as many more are killed in accidents than die in Iraq. Or cigarette manufactures.
Do us all a favor, and forego a comparison between American foreign policy and the deaths of 2800 troops and anything else. You show your true colors and diminish their sacrifice. You should be ashamed.

US society is not a dismal failure, although members of it definitely are!

The other issue is that the death rate in Iraq is spread over a much smaller population than the 300,000,000 in the US, and thus would be far more shocking if extrapolated to a population our size.

People seem to be doing anything they can to assure
themselves a cell in the jail or prison. Also, the number
of people killed in automobile accidents is astounding
but you don't hear people pushing for citizens to quit
buying or driving automobiles. Maybe the media should
televise the numbers every evening like they do the death
toll of the war in Iraq.

Okay, would you rather we be left in the dark about what's happening to our soldiers, our people overseas? Or maybe you'd just rather everybody join the crowd and put their president before their country, because it's that mentality Dictators and Monarchs feed off of.

Oh yeah, and by the way, most people knew the death numbers from Iwo Jima and Berlin and D-Day, but they still supported the war because it was worth supporting. Don't you think it's strange that people actually died in wars before and the American people didn't want to leave before, except with Vietnam? Probably didn't occur to you, I doubt your brain cells could remember anything not spouted by Fox News.

Go ahead, report me. I dare you.

They won't do that because according to the FBI and DoJ, more than 50% of murderers/homicides are commited by blacks, who make up 13% of the population in the United States. They won't show that because people might think it's racists, since when are facts racist.
