Sometimes I think I am the only Yank that is not a Man U, Arsenal, or Chelsea supporter.

Absolutely brilliant to hear of Americans supporting our great football team. Hopefully with the help of another American (Randy Lerner) we will keep improving and get back to the dizzy heights of the early 80's.
The thing that you are saying about the Americans only supporting the top 3 clubs is not just a problem with Americans it also happens over here about a quarter of the population of London support Man United its an absolute disgrace, they are known over here as glory hunters and we sing songs to them to support their local team, so try doing that to any Americans who support the big 3 and it might shut em up for a bit.

I am yet to meet an American that understands football, but you look like your getting there ;), i am a villa fan, i actually live in Birmingham, i went to the Fullam game last week and i am going to the Blackburn game this week, i am a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings, blame my wife for that, she is from MN, i stayed out there for a while, daaaaam cold !!!!

It's good to hear someone from the States who has sense. They have made a reasonable start to the season and have secured an excellent manager. If they buy wisely in the January window they could become a good side and challenge for a place in Europe.
