His career is working with computers and he loves spending time on them at home. So I thought about getting him something for his laptop or his other computer, but I'm clueless when it comes to things like that. Any suggestions?? Or some other kind of gadget/electronical thing. He already has an MP3 player. And he's not really into games. Any other gift ideas would be helpful too. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this will help.. He got his degree in Management Information Systems. His job title is PC Support Specialist. I think he does a little of everything ~ networking, installing, updating, and whatever else is involved in this kind of field. I try to listen when he talks about his job, but it doesn't make much sense.

if someone's really into computers, it's pretty unlikely you'd know enough about exactly what he likes to buy him something he wants and doesn't already have. You may need to talk with one of his best buds to get some true insight, or risk missing the mark entirely. (Reminds me of when a friend of mine got a "Beatles" album from his parents for Christmas one year. Of course his parents knew he liked the Beatles, so they bought a lousy compilation of other people singing Beatles covers. ick. Close, but oh so far!

How about something more personal? This is his first year married to the girl of his dreams, so I'd think about giving him something more personal that he can keep forever and remember you by. What about an amazing watch? A Swiss Army knife, maybe engraved with his initials? A splurge cashmere sweater in a great color? Something more personal that only you could give him would be my suggestion.

Depends on what quantity of money you ought to spend. If you'll be able to spare a few cash I could purchase them a couple of day getaway at a neighborhood vacation motel or some thing. You would babysit their children for per week or 2 (that could be a excellent present)....if now not all I would believe of include matters that could be priceless like new dinnerware or new pots and pans....perhaps get them a few extra towels.... If that also does not be just right for you perhaps you would get the spouse an afternoon on the spa and the man an afternoon of golfing or paintball or a recreation he loves to play or some thing alongside that line...Good Luck

There are many ways to work with computers. Are you talking about hardware or software? Are you referring to a technician or an engineer? Is his work related to research or common usage? It's hard to advise when there is so much we don't know.
If you give him something he knows came from your heart then he should be happy with your heart. Corny but true. I'll check back for more details later.
