Information on superluminal velocity (science-speak for travelling faster than the speed of light):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachyon
The word you're looking for is Tachyon, which really is a hypothetical at this time. If we assume Einstein's Theory of Relativity to be true, then tachyons are impossible. If Einstein was wrong, however....
Also, consider the possibility of a Tesseract (literally a folding of space)...such a thing would allow instantaneous travel.

All the wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum travel at the same speed - the speed of light. The difference is the length of the wave, that's all. Tacheyon seems to be the most popular - that must be it - but I'm really clueless.

Intangibles like thought and imagination maybe.
Visible light is part of the electro/magnetic spectrum so energy from other parts of the spectrum, such as radio waves or ultra violate must travel faster or slower.

Yes there is it's called superluminal motion and we see it in the jets of quasars (although it's only an illusion).
Tricky.
General Relativity only rules out information travelling at the speed of light.

Well In star trek they call it warp speed and in stargate the call it hyper drive, to them this means they travelling faster than light

according to all theory from Einstein onwards, nothing can travel beyong the speed of light - so there is no word for it, because it will never occur

Bad news
Tachyons
Dark (Dark is a million times faster than light, but not nearly as fast as bad news).
