When I was trying to make a name for myself at Butlin's back in the late 1980's, I had to let the compere of the talent show urinate all over my face before anyone would take me seriously. I bet Will Young didn't have to do that!

yeah they have it way too easy and any way they dont get anywhere like wheres steve brookstein or michelle mcmanus now there just talentless

You are joking because that sounds desperate?! I would never let anyone humiliate me like that! I think X factor is quite rigorous. You have to stand up in front of millions of viewers week after week and put on a perfect performance. How many watched you in Butlins? 100 max? I think good on all of them and if these shows were around in the 80's then I bet you would have auditioned too!

The X factor is just good TV, I only enjoy watching all the freaks come out of the woodwork who are convinced they can sing.

None of them ever get anywhere really
