Hi, Can I just ask does anyone else here lead a secret double life that NOBODY else other than themselves know about. I won over £700,000 on the lottery about a year ago and have NOT told anyone about this. Am I right to do this.

If I won £700,000 on the lottery I wouldn't tell anyone. I'd tell my boyfriend I guess, but I'd do everything else in secret and pay off my parents debts without telling them it was me, and buy two houses, one little as a cover, and the other one will be disney world!

I don't have a secret double life, but I think you did right not telling anyone... Money is generally going with problems when everybody knows it. I'm sure that if you had told it, you would have found a lot of new "friends" (or old friends who would suddenly remenber you...) Honestly, I think you'll have much more peace not telling anyone

If I won the lottery I'd probably do the same and for a time not tell anyone. Basically I'd want to come around to the shock of it and go from there.

Yep, I do have had a female lover for the last 10 years since my husband died and nobody knows about it.
We go on vacations together and do things together and nobody is the wiser!!

i wouldnt tell many people but id have to tell my family or a friend- i wouldnt feel right living a lie all my life!! its not very healthy- cant u make out to someone close that uv recently just won the money that u have left??

Wow - how are you able to keep something like this to yourself. Of course it;s entirely up to you if you want to keep quiet but isn't it nicer to share good fortune and enjoy yourself with other people.
