IIT's and IIM's bring out the cream of cream. The admission is very tough and is based purely on merit.
They mostly get the best assignments provided by the industry and end up in premier research institutes. Few maybe 'sleazy' it happens everywhere and has nothing to do with almamater but their nature. You cannot make generalisations as there are thousands who have given valuable inputs in their fields.

i dont think so.
its hard time gettin admission in IIT and IIM's, mostly based on merits. they are some done on basis of donation also, so u can epxect people comin from rich & influential families. ofcurs, not all of em from high societies. so u can expect such people to behave in a very sleazy manner.. but becoz of few u can't blame the whole group. rite....
In general, education provided by IIT n IIM r world class n best..none can beat it

yeah. when they join the institute they are like angels, but when they complete their studies and leave the institute, they are a bunch of egoistical folks with an inflated inferiority complex
