Whats wrong with tom boys? i like a girl that feels comfortable with herself enough to step out of gender roles and be herself. but anyone can change if that is what they really want to do.

I was always and still am a "tom boy" because I make my life in sports. Being "a lady" for me has more to do with who I am than what I wear. It is about values, not appearances.

I was the same way to a tee. I can't believe this in a question I would have asked. First you need to be you. Put some make up on and go you hair don't over due it thou. Then do some jean shopping find some that fit nice and buy some boot with it. buy some colorful sweater and you can get a good start. It will not happen over night but at least it is a start. Have fun with it!!

Yes a tomboy can become a real lady. if she has the desire to do it she will. a real lady only need to learn to be a lady. so from tomboy state she still has the ladyish altrhough she may run with the boys there is nothing worng with it.

If she wants to, she can take etiquette classes and they will teach her approved manners, but as long as she has a good heart she will be fine. I took those classes when I was little, they were suprisingly a lot of help later in life when I still remembered where the tiny fork went.

Watch every teen movie ever made. In every one of those they take the outcast girl, sometimes the tomboy and revamp her to make her homecoming queen. then she loses but finds herself along the way, and the cool guy learns that she is the thing he wants the most, and she is not just a bet.

Well some of it is just a phase, other times its just someone's personality & that is fine as long as they are polite & well mannered. So I would not try to change their apppearance or style or hobbies & as long as they are polite i dont think it matters. Just love her for who she is. If she doesn't want to be all girlie then she wont its just who she is, but make sure she is atleast reasonably well mannered.

why can't you be both. personally I would like a woman who had the same interests as me and did the same activities as me. And if you did them better than me so be it, good for you. I would say stay the way you are. Don't change yourself to satisfy others. Only change yourself for yourself.
