I'm the same, i also think i could be alright, but have also had no one else's opinion. Try asking someone you know, like your mother, cause then you know you'll get an honest answer. But don't try karaoke yet!
Hope things work out!

I thought that I was terrible until my wedding day, I had singing lessons for four months prior to my wedding day, I sang Evergreen (Will Young's Version), at my wedding for my wife and I was sobber, my wife had no idea that I was going to sing to her and nobody else did apart from my best friend that is, once I sang everyone got up on their seats cheering and clapping, a friend of ours recorded it, I was dreading watching that bit on the video, but as it happens it sounded pretty cool, I was pleasently suprised that I can actually sing. Must have been having them lessons making it pay off.

I'm a good singer! Its one of the few things i know i'm good at and don't mind singing in public! mind you i had very low self esteem when i was young so it was nice to find something that people would praise me for doing. even now tho, after winning a few local competitions for it, i still shake like a leaf from nerves before i get up there!
mind you i haven't sung for about a year or so now so who knows i might now suck! i still don't think i sound too bad tho!

When people tell you are you know it. but when no one has ever told you, you need to probably continue to wonder. I know I am because people tell me when I do karaoke. I also used to sing solo with my guitar in church, and was told by different people. My daughter came into the bedroom one day when I was singing a Anne Murray song and wanted to know what station I was listening to, and when I told her it was me, she sat down and listened to me for awhile and told me I was very good. My parents used to listen to me and my bro and would say we were Donny and Marie. (osmonds) you prolly don't know them though. so looks like you need to find out if you are? jjust ask

To be honest I love singing but I'm absolutely bad at it. If you do Karoake it doesn't matter if your're a good singer or not, it's for a laugh, innit?

No
Why not join the local choir, or your school choir.
They will tell you quick enough how good you are.
There is always the X factor, or a karaoke competition.
Just remember, you might find out that you are not as good as you think. People can be brutal.
