There was no one loss team that was helped by the loss of USC. You could say it helped the eventual winner of the SEC, or that it helped the eventual loser of the OSU/Michigan game, but in reality it didnt help anyone that had one loss already.

We are assuming that the one loss teams that stand now will end up with one loss at the end of the season, not true.

Tennessee plays Arkansas, and LSU still which could mean another loss for them.
Arkansas plays Tennessee and LSU still a loss would still mean that they could win the SEC and be a two loss team.
Auburn still plays Bama, and UGA kind of a toss up but Bama might surprise them.
Florida seems to have an easy road until you realize they still play the old ball coach.
Texas still has to play Texas A&M.
USC plays Cal, Oregon, and ND which could mean another loss or two.
Cal plays USC and has a good chance of winning the Pac 10 if they win.
Notre Dame seems to have a very easy road to finishing with one loss as well with only USC left as a potential road block.

Not even taking into consideration the fact that there are 5 major unbeaten teams still left in the season. There are a lot of factors and if the winner of the SEC has two losses do you take a two loss team from them instead of a one loss team from another conference. Its going to be confusing so lets hope two teams remain undefeated.

I'll tell you which one loss team. The team that loses the Michigan/Ohio State game is the one that is helped the most by the USC loss.

It should help either Texas or the loser of the loser of the Ohio St/Michigan game. None of it matters if one of the Big East teams runs the table, although I think it should. I still think that Rutgers, Louisville and WV are going to find some way to beat each other up and leave us with the winner of the OS/Mich. game and a bunch of 1 loss teams. If that's the scenario, I don't see how it can be anybody other then Texas or the loser of the OS/Mich. game because of who their 1 loss would be against.

The BCS is BS.

Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

irishfan - There is no way A&M beats Texas in Austin.

I think it should help Texas. But the BCS still has Florida and auburn ahead of them. West Virginia has no business in the top five, hopefully Louisville will prove this. Of course they would probably just move Louisville up to third, which would be wrong as well.

Florida!

If they get a re-match and beat Auburn in the SEC Champ game, they should be playing the OSU/Mich winner for the National Title.

It's easy to be unbeaten if you don't play anyone, the voters still see that.

Everyone likes an underdog and the Gators had to fight and scratch thru some awesome teams to get to where they are.

The winner of the upcoming WVU / Louisville game will be helped the most.

GO VOLS

Wish that I was on ole rocky top,
Down in the tennessee hills.
Ain't no smoggy smoke on rocky top,
Ain't no telephone bills.

Once there was a girl on rocky top,
Half bear the other half cat.
Wild as a mink, sweet as soda pop,
I still dream about that.

Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.

Once two strangers climbed on rocky top,
Lookin' for a moonshine still.
Strangers ain't come back from rocky top,
Guess they never will.

Corn won't grow at all on rocky top,
Dirt's too rocky by far.
That's why all the folks on rocky top
Get their corn from a jar.

Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.

Now I've had years of cramped up city life,
Trapped like a duck in a pen.
Now all I know is it's a pity life
Can't be simple again.

Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee
