Hiya, im jus looking for people's opinions really. Personally, after seeing celebrities looking perfect in magazines and watching certain music videos with women dressed in practically nothing, i start to feell bad about my own body. Almost inadequate? I'm not overweight, but these things do make me worry about how i look? Does anyone else feel the same? Please tell me your opinions on this whole topic, thanks!

I think there can be a lot of pressure to be as thin etc as people in magazines. I don't think I ever felt I had to look like my barbie doll, although she does get a bad wrap in the media, I think the problem at the moment is that it is packaged as normal and size 2 mannequins in shops stare out at you so if you don't look like that in the clothes you buy, you must have a problem. You see the 'normal' people on tv and then they show the morbidly obese as the other alternative. I know that I will never be tall and thin, so I must be the other sort. Pass me the king size cherry ripe and the packet of tim-tams thanks!
