Yes! Right now I am in love with someone that most people call a total stranger. We met 2 years ago online, playing in the same euchre league. Over time we started talking over the telephone, getting to know each other. He lives in the States and I am in Canada. He has a lot of health problems and so do I. We are both divorced. He has a 9 yr old daughter and I have a 13 yr old daughter and a 16 yr old son. The kids have all talked as well. We have pictures of us all. He has asked me to marry him and I have said yes.
A few years ago I would have said that this is nuts but no you can fall in love with someone that you have never met in person and lately I have heard a few happy ending storys of ppl meeting online and then getting together. One lady I know met her soul mate and never seen him for 3 years but finally got together, married and have been very happy for 8 years now.
As long as you can talk honestly and the person seems truly interested in your feelings, your children etc. Somehow Love Happens and it is wonderful.
Take care and have a great day!!

I have been "in love" with the looks of a stranger but I don't think you can really love someone unless you know them.

Sure Love and Truth are sometimes stranger than Fiction.
It can be exciting if you let yourself go and experience it all.

I often fall in love (well, I prefer to call them crushes) with random anime characters, so I guess you could consider them strangers.

Like someone you have never met before, who doesn't know you and you don't know much about?
I wonder if this counts. I used to have a crush on a certain actor that I used to watch in the movies. I had his picture in my notebook, for goodness sake. One day, due to my profession, by chance I met him on set, and we hit it off so well that we ended up going out.
I guess that's a happy ending to a crush on someone you've never met before, though. :)
