In cinema, it is not so popular. Hollywood movies are mushrooming the cinemas in Indonesia.
However, the are quite a lot of Bollywood movies on Television, like the private-owned SCTV. Unfortunately, there are not so many Chinese, Asian, Bollywood and International movies shown in the cinema

There is indian movies channel called "Z aflam" but usually, it's only indian and srilanki workers who watch it. Indian movies are not popular in Lebanon. I tried watching a few of them but I couldn't. The songs were just too annoying. There was one movie I liked thought. It was about a dyslexic boy struggling in school.

they are broadcasted weekly on national tv station..and some of indian movies are run in cinema..
but to say how popular..i think it's relative.. :)

Popular? maybe for the uneducated...but i find the indian films lousy, a waste of time...no values, not realistic, dance steps that originated from ...outer space maybe...In short, it is damn corny. Sorry to be honest......
