Yes I will. Yes I will, and; aside from the first winner the rest have been pretty much non events. There comes a point in a competition that the American people cheat and the wrong person gets eliminated and the winner becomes a joke. Plus the bit about the song they have to sing if they win is a sure way of skewing the contest. Take the year Fantasia won, they gave the finalists a gospel song, talk about slanting the competition in one direction. But the answers are still yes unless something better comes up.

This show is getting worse and worse. It use to be fun watching the so called singing divas who sounded worse than an shrieking animal. But now that I see how American choose an idol, I realized that winning this show is not based on how well you can sing, but how good you look or how great your personality is. Be serious here! Was it called American idol for nothing? Guess not!!!!! There can only be one Kelly, one Fantasia, one Reuben. The other winners out there are not working out for me. no way. offense to any fans out there, but no. I think this show should be dropped. sooner or later its going to become an old rag in the sack. That's really how the deal goes around here.

I will definitley watch but probably not all the auditions. Those get real boring. I will watch regularly when it gets to 24.
I like Kelly okay, Ruben is good and Fantasia I can take or leave. I love Carrie Underwood (and I beg to differ with the person who said Kelly was the only successful one), and I have laready pretty much forgotten about Taylor Hicks.
I AM looking forward to Chris Daughtry's CD when it comes out, though. Kelllie Pickler's comes out tomorrow and I will buy it.

Definately! I'm a Canadian that just luvs music and I have watched American Idol every year. I find it funny and very entertaining. It's great to see these talented young people shooting for their chance. We have Canadian Idol here but I tend to like the American much better.
I mean who can resist Simon LOL

i think some mistakes have been made based on popularity as opposed to talent. i think both bo bice and chris daughtry should have won their respective competitions. i did like kelly clarkson...ruben and fantasia are good in their respective genres as well...but taylor hicks, cmon. I will watch this year, especially the auditions which i find hilarious. i do have better things to do, but i just cant seem to stop watching american idol!

Last year's was the first one I watched because I was living in China and was happy to be able to watch something in English.
But if that's what they're all like, I won't be watching again. I mean, the guy who won? What was that about? Vocally, I thought that guy Elliot pooped upon him from a great height.

i like watching the auditions. kelly clarkson is the best and actually made something of herself. Carrie Underwood has probably done the second best. She has a hit country album, and it is really good.
What happened to everyone else? Where's Ruben, Fantasia, and Bo?
Did I get everyone???

The judges do say who wins. in case you study the credit it says that the manufacturers can replace the shows effect. it really is what befell with Sanjaya, he wasn't the bottom yet they needed him out. i'd make American Idol genuine and performance the visitors votes quite confirm who wins.
