Consistency of semen isn't very consistent; you've probably noticed that the thickness of your ejaculate can vary from day to day. This is because the quality of the fluid is very susceptible to a number of factors. Diet, exercise and frequency of sex can all dictate how thick or watery your emissions are, as can the tightness of the clothes that you wear (tight clothing will increase body temperature and can thus impact sperm motility.
Actual semen quantity differs among individuals and can also change for the same individual during different times of his life. Genetics plays an important part in how much a male will ejaculate. Most males ejaculate about one teaspoon of semen. Some medications may affect the amount of semen produced. And you will notice that the longer you take between orgasms the larger the quantity of semen you will ejaculate. (You've probably noticed that if you masturbate more than once a day that the second, third or fourth time you achieve orgasm you release smaller and smaller quanitities of semen. Wait overnight and see how much more your body made while you were asleep.) Additionally, the more aroused you get and the longer you take to ejaculate, the more semen your body will produce. Foreplay — touching yourself in special ways in special places — will sometimes stimulate the body to produce more semen, since the body's reproductive glands (such as the prostate) work harder when you're aroused.
Semen from a mature male is usually a milky or pearly-white color. It is not uncommon to see a yellowish tint to the semen if you've abstained from ejaculation for a while. Semen colored with red streaks may signify blood. If you occasionally see a bit of blood it's not necessarily a cause for alarm, but if you see a lot of it, or if it persists, the condition should be brought to the attention of your physician. The same goes any other drastic color changes, which may indicate infection.

The clear fluid is pre-ejaculatory fluid, it acts as a lubricant, and it can contain sperm. That is why the withdraw birth control method does no work to prevent pregnancy. Not all men produce or ejaculate pre-ejaculatory fluid. Some produce a lot some hardly any at all. The white fluid is semen that is produced and stored in the prostate gland, it picks up the sperm that is produced and stored in the testes during ejaculation.. Sperm is microscopic and cannot be seen with the eye. A man that has had a Vasectomy will not notice any difference in his ejaculation amount. I know that was one of my concerns. LOL

You mention the fact that his semen is relatively clear, but you didn't mention his age. The younger the man, the less consistency the semen has. For the most part when a boy is in his early teens 13-15, the development of semen is relatively less consistent in thickness and in volume than a teen of 18 years and up. It tends to be a slightly viscous clear liquid, or tends to have a slight filmy look to it.....like some liquid hair gels or clear liquid soaps. Also....when a man tends to masturbate constantly or at least on a regular basis, the amount of semen that is ejaculated tends to be less in quantity, and slightly less consistent in volume as well. If this is your boyfriend's case, there is nothing wrong with him at all.....it is quite normal, and as he continues to develop, his semen will get more and more volume.
Now.....if he is not a teenager, and is in his early to mid-twenties, there might be a development or hormonal unbalance that he might have to get checked out. I hope it works out!
Best of Luck!

Do not worry. Your boyfriend is most likely fine. He is most likely fertile. Every man is different and every ejaculate load is different. Some men have a yellowish hue to their semen. Some men are rather clear. Some men are very thick and white, almost like jelly.
Most likely, your boyfriend is ejaculating fairly often. Frequency does affect the appearance and amount of semen. With each orgasm, a man's ejaculate load becomes less and clearer. It gets more like water every time.
Also, other factors such as exercise and diet affect the color and taste of semen. I would not worry about it.
However, I would encourage you to talk to your boyfriend about it. Maybe he can tell you more about it. If he is worried about it, he could always see his primary healthcare practitioner about it.

Hi luv!
Don't you worry, it's actually normal; not all men are created equal in THAT dept.!
Semen is so affected by many outside factors, as well as genetics. Some guys are born to have the thickest ejaculate you've ever seen while others have very watery-liquid-like sperm... Also, sperm can change through the years, and even from day to day, depending on nutrition, frequency of ejaculation, stress, etc...
Read my hubby's earlier entry for more information!

Boy, Candace, you sure have gotten a lot of answers on this question. Guess there are a lot of guys that look at their own semen! It sounds to me like your boyfriend is having sex so frequently that his testicles, prostrate, and seminal vesicles are exhausted....thus, his semen is watery and thin. Take a few days off from sex and make sure to tell him to quit masturbating too. It should return to normal "white liquified cream" within a couple of days. If it doesn't, then you should make sure he goes to a good urologist to be checked for problems.

There is nothing wrong, not all semen is the same. It depends on a lot of factors; such as the type of food he eats, his daily physical activities, how much water he drinks, and how often he ejaculates.

Luckly this is a great solution for premature ejaculation http://EndPrematureEjaculation.enle.info/?Jpp5
A guy always cums fast when its their first time. and especially if he's been waiting for a long time. Guys are erect at least 5 times a day so what I would do is some foreplay until he ejaculates or the both of you for that matter its not fair that he has orgasms and you don't so get him to do you first and then once you finish he will be more than ready for his orgasm. then use a condom because that cuts down the sensations for him if he feels he is about to come prematurely then tell him to come out and do some more foreplay on you so he has time to calm down. the condom should work but if you want a baby tell him to take the condom of before ejaculation and then finish in you. the longer you wait to make him come with foreplay the quiker it will be because he has to get it out of him.
He also does need time because you are the only one he has been with so once he gets used to it, you can really enjoy it once he gets his techniques down pat. Tell him what you like. Get some books and videos also until you both are experienced. Or you could even have a quickie in the morning, when you get home and then at night. he will diffently last longer because his mind has been free twice already. You get on top of him and you control the situation. Also my boyfriend tells me that he thinks about none sexual things for a while to help control him, tell him to think about a sport or something that calms him. If that doesn't work then just do IT over until you are satisfied

Interesting. Most of what I have seen is thick and white. Maybe he should get it checked by a urologist. Tell him it won't hurt. You can help him collect a sample.
