I have this old Aluminum Radiators which full of dust and oil.......... my question is how to clean the junk off the radiator? Since the aluminum fins are quite fragile I've avoid using brute force to clean it........ :p

The purpose of cleaning the radiator is simple - to improve thermal conductivity and yeah, for bragging rights!

use wheel cleaner, its raw aluminium and will clean up rather nicely. dont use air if you can avoid it, use regular water pressure. and dont clean the inside out with anything besides clean water.........

Use Brake Cleaner, and an air compressor to blow all the dust and oil out. Just make sure you blow the air directly through the fins. If you have air blowing from the sides you may rip or bend the fins.

Yes, it is okay! Ensure the water to coolant ratio is followed. Change every 2 years.
