A swingers lifestyle is very dangerous. One must be completely secure in their sexuality and with their partnership. If you decide to live this sort of adventure out with people that you know, make sure that you will be able to handle the day after. This can make or break a relationship, so make sure that you lay the ground rules down with your partner and thoroughly discuss how you feel about the act, otherwise you are just heading for disaster. Also, make sure that you are protected.

A swinger is somebody who is comfortable with themselves, their sexuality, their mores, unafraid of (or adequately protected from) sexually transmitted disease, and into sex with multiple and/or many frequent partners.
A swinger is either a nonreligious person or someone whose belief system does not include condemnation of indiscriminate sex acts.
A Swinger should be somebody with good hygiene -- but is somebody to be wary of and likely a carrier of Chlamydia, Human Papilloma Virus, Herpes Simplex II, and possibly Hepatitis B, C, and maybe AIDS.
