So I'm taking hormonal contraceptives and one of the side effects is vaginal dryness. I have read about KY and how it works wonders, but I can't get it in Berlin, Deutschland, and I'm wondering if anyone out there might know something to use instead and where to get it. Thanks.

I got it in Austria.
But I couldn't find it on the shelf. I had to ask the Pharmacist for a lubricant. Once we got past the language barrier he gave me KY.

Find an adult entertainment shop - a sex shop, in other words - if you can't get it at the pharmacy. You want a lube that is not petroleum based. KY is great, but the generic brands are just as good - here in Canada the brand names are Equality, Compliments and Truly, and I'm sure there are some in Germany too.
Whatever you do, do NOT use vaseline, oil of any kind, or hand lotions - they all block pores and can give you a WICKED yeast infection or worse. As embarrassing as it is, I'd suggest consulting with your pharmacist - since he/she is aware of the meds you are on, suggesting a lube should be no problem.
(Also make sure you are drinking LOTS of water to supply fluid to all your parts. Dehydration leads to vaginal dryness too.)

Maybe they sell Astroglide there. I have heard it's better anyway. Or perhaps you can buy ky on many of the adult websites on the web.

you should be able to order it online somewhere, another good one is Slippery Kitty, should also be able to find it online.
