Hi. Me too!! She should have gotten the death penalty. Now i never wish death upon anyone, but in cases like this justice should be served and it should be served right! 5 dear sweet innocent children she killed! Yes she's in prison and doing her time, but she's still eating, and breathing under a roof.(That we are paying for by the way) 5 innocent lives were lost. That is like when quite a few years ago another woman strapped her 2 boys in the car and pushed it into a lake!! I can't talk about this anymore, I'M PISSED OFF TOO!!! (Even though the woman was mentally insane!) And the husband should not have left those kids with her, he should have tried to get some sort of help for her! God i gotta go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !?*!

She should have been drowned in the tub. If I remember the case right, she knew she had mental issues BEFORE the post partum depression. She also told the cops at the scene that she knew she did wrong killing the kids. So now she gets to live and her ex husband has to live with the memory of 4 boys and a baby girl.

Was her sentence fair? Fair is a relative term. It was proven she was mentally ill at the time and she will have to live the rest of her life with the thoughts of killing her children.
They didn't prove that she was a wicked, cruel, vicious type of person. The mental illness was the major contributor to her actions.
Imagine, being medicated, getting well mentally, then realizing you have killed you 5 children. I think she may be going through her own personal hell. Isn't that enough?

I think they should show her a movie about a women who drown her 5 children every day of her life. OH and those children in the film should have her children's names.

It was fair.
She is obviously ill. She has plentiful punishment already realizing what she did to those beautiful, innocent kids, in treatment for life, and without a husband.
