Had a Jury notice in the mail I know the date and time to be there. Just not sure what to tell boss

Go to the scheduled hearing as it may be you are disqualified from serving on the jury. Also while you are at the county court house ask the county clerk for documentation of your appearance. and present it to your employer. Your employer must,
allow you to miss that day at work, without any repercussions as it is mandated by local, state, and federal laws.

Call the clerk of courts or who ever handles that office in your state and have them fax one to your boss or send you a replacement.
