its working good for making a cd.but not the same with dvd.could any one can help me out plz

You need to give more info, especially the make and model of your burner, and the software you are using to make the cd with. If it is Nero or Nero Express, make sure you are changing the drop-down in the upper right hand corner to DVD from the first screen. Also, you may need to "flash" your burner by getting a flash utility from your hardware manufacturer. Instructions are usually on their web site.
Also, it is likely that you are trying to use a DVD-R in a DVD+R burner or vice versa. This is the most common mistake.

i usaly just turn the dvd burn speed down to 4x
