Eligibility for bioinformatics?
Can anyone tell me the eligibility for pursuing a course in bioinformatics in India? Also list some colleges offering the course.
I have completed my B.Sc with Botany, Zoology and Environmental Science and had Mathematics at +2

In order to be eligible for bioinformatics one must learn or have the background knowledge of biology, math, stat, computer science.As you have the basic qualification ,that is, you had math along with biology, you are likely to be selected.You log on to BHU(BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY), Garden city college, Bangalore, JNU etc for further details.

u have all qualifications for bioinfo course..among the other universities is the pune university..just check out the sites of all the universities as listed before in the 1st answer..thru google search.
