Hey Guys ! He ain't overrated
He is & always has been a good player those members who say that he is an awful player r just saying crap & I don't think that they look at stats . They need to remeber that Becks had the most no. of Assists in Spanish Primera Liga (La Liga) in the previous season probably after Ronaldo de Asses Moreira (Ronaldinho)

Not a good question to ask on this forum. I've noticed that there is not love lost for Becksie around here. I'm not sure if Yahoo just seems to draw in all of the Beckham haters or people just don't like him because he is so famous. It's really funny how quickly people have forgotten how great he was (and some argue, still is). Some interesting stats about Becks on the National Squad:
17 goals, although with his assists, he has either scored or created a goal in every other match he has played. Three goals in three World Cups, the only England player to score in that many finals. Two sendings off, one of only ten players to see red, and the only one dismissed twice.
Also, Beckham has pretty much singlehandedly brought football to the mainstream in America.
Love him or hate him, there will likely never be another footballer like Becks.

I don't think he rocks but he is a good player and doesn't deserve to get chucked out of the England team.

always has been and will be to come a quality player and still has a lot to offer england steve mclaren dont really know wat he is doing leaving becks out in favour of downing not good management at all becks wears his heart on his sleeve and is very passionate about his country how many other england players can say that only a few i know

He is good at scoring goals from set pieces and is a good crosser. Maybe he is a little overrated, but he is still a good player.
