Well its my husbands works christmas party 21st dec and i need ideas on what to wear as i dont want to look like i have over done it! We are going to a hotel by east midlands airport for a meal then not too sure whats happening after that! prob stay in hotel and have a few drinks! so i need ideas shall i get new dress or something different? and what colour etc! you can see from my pic what i look like so.......... help!

well for a start, congratulations, your wedding looked lovely and your dress was gorgeus!
secondly , your slim, show off your curves with a smart and stylish cocktail dress. Crimson/ red is a good colour this winter and it would go with your hair colour, however SOME dresses in this colour can be pretty foul and you have to be daring!!!

Totally know what you mean. When I went to mine, I wore a pair of pin-stripe black pants. They're cute and tight fitting. I went out to forever 21 (Good store, but you have to really shop to find something good), and found a strapless green top, it was flowy and had some gold beading on the top. It was a very winter/chirstmas outfit. I matched it with some gold hoops and a gold diamond neclace. The outfit was cute and sexy, but at the same time It wasn't over done and was respectable for a work party. Hopefully that helps.

I would strongly recommend that for the christmas party you should do the following and don;t let him know until that night.
Black lacy bra, thong and 4 strap garter, some black stockings. get some nice 4" black pumps. Then find a very sexy little black dress, but not too wild since it will be his office, and you don't want to appear to be slutty or easy. When sitting at dinner make sure you let him see some of the garter straps holding your stockings...so you will look presentable for the party and you will be his little hottie after the party...which you might leave early.

a dress that goes half way down your leg passed your knee, and make sure that it has no sleves, colours id say dark redy, purple or a black or a winner is a flowy white ddress, these are ideal colours for xmas, and also hair down to add to the effect with heel shoes which are lyk an inch or so long. x oh and a drop necklace down ur clevage with matching earings x

Wear a nice cocktail dress, nothing too fancy. Suggest you go to a few shops and try different styles on, or book a personal shopper, which is free usually.

Bubbles is spot on, you can't really go wrong with the LBD. Find one you really love then accessorise to suit your mood. At the moment, I think leopard print shoes/bag with black looks gorgeous or there is a lot of patent around which also works really well for sophisticated evening wear.

tiny pic! o.k just go for something classy like the black cocktail dress then that about covers all eventuallities. u will look smart/sophisticated & even if u go clubbing (lol) thrn im sure u can still pull it off. have fun & merry christmas!

hey, i think you should get a dress but i can't really see you picture properly so I don't know how to help you with the colour. What colour hair/eyes do you have?
get an emeraldy colour dress then to set off your eyes.
there's some really nice ones in monsoon.
