The defending champions are the pittsburgh steelers but this year with the new england patriots looking on form the may have a hard challenge to defend the title as the new england patriots have won the vince lombardi trophy (the name of the trophy won) three times and were dissapionted with last years season where they went out against the Denver Broncos in 2005
