I read a newspaper article about Giggs the season before he started playing for United,s 1st team.
It said he would be the NEW George Best!! & in a way he is BUT thank God in another way he definatly was,nt!!
At the time his name was Ryan Wilson & he,d captained the England youth team.
It was Alex Ferguson who took him under his wing keeping him out of the spotlight, SO that he would,nt ruin his career like Bestie did.
I watched Giggs make his debut & met him in the Europa Suit @ Old Trafford that night.
I told him that i was very excited @ what i,d seen that afternoon & that he scared the hell out of the defenders.
Watching Giggs on the ball on the wing game after game running @ people was the nearest thing to sex on a football pitch i,d ever seen!!
When he scored that goal against Arsenal he signed my Man United shirt, it was & STILL is the best goal i,ve ever seen scored!!
When he had his 10yr testamonail i thanked him for all the years of enjoyment that he,d given me watching him from the terraces all over the country.
Long may it continue!! Football will be a darker place when he hangs up his boots!
1 more premiership title & he will be the most successful player in British history

Nah Stevie Gerrard, Ino he hasnt got the Experince but i suppose he also has, he went one better than Ryan Giggs Semi Final winner, he scored a 30 yarder in the Final, he also did similar for Liverpool to progress in the successful Champions League campaign, consequently he basically won them the Trophy, hes also played in a World Cup something Ryan Giggs hasnt. He can play almost anywhere on the pitch.

I am a massive GIGGS fan,but complete is not a word i would associate with him.In his own words he should have been able to play with both feet.If he had taken a leaf out of Cantona's book and forced himself to play right footed after training then maybe.But lets be honest if you are that good with only one foot why bother, eh?The goal you talk about is not top drawer,its in the apartment above.

In my opinion philipe Senderos for arsenal is more complete has more counting atributes to giggsy. Such as he is brave in heading, timing in his tackle, not scared to have a go at goal and has great vision. And really all giggs can do is cross and take a good free kick!!!

they are both supposed to be at first left wingers at first
giggs in his pomp could hug the touch line and beat a fullback with skill and pace and put a ball on a sixpence as well as Beckham could from the other flank
Bale plays more like a deep lying center forward he passes and moves and sprints away from people more than beating people with close control unlike giggs
To be honest they both suit the generation and the sides they are in Bale fits the Spurs pass and move attack of AVB giggs suited the wingers philosophy of fergies 90s sides
If they were both in the same squad id take giggs because a giggs in his pomp could do what bale does now and be a world class winger too

....he is a good player in his area..the left flank...but he is not acomplete player..he just play his position well....put him anywhere else ..he wont perform well...
he suits the Man Utd style...he wont be able to play that well in any other side
