I have the screensaver "flowerbox" on and the background should be black BUT all of a sudden the background turned a light grey! Also, the desktop background got smaller.........I was able to fix that (mostly) but nothing I have done corrects the grey background! HELP!

Your "brightness" may be turned up too high.
Are the colors OK?

i just test that screen saver and it shuld not go grey background. and ur . desktop background got smaller.. by its self you may need to start looking for new monitor

Did you recently move anything magnetic like speakers closer to it than before? That will cause the trouble you're talking about.
