I don't believe I've ever heard it put that way. You don't think with your heart, you feel. Do you mean follow your heart? The "figurative" heart that feels, loves, decorates Valentines Day cards etc is not your literal, physical heart that pumps blood. Though sometimes it feels like it. Love can feel like an ache in your chest sometimes...Your romantic "heart" is perhaps just a part of your mind, or some nebulous, intangible part of you, like your soul. Follow your heart just means to do what feels right for you, rather than using cold logic (using your head) to make decisions. In reality though, your mind is always making the decision. It's just a different part of your mind, the part governing emotion rather than reason.

Lev is the heart the Hebrew word for the thinking part of the mind!
There is no thinking in emotion!
Has nothing to do with soul thought!
The physical heart pumps blood through the body.

Either you are not emotional or you don't know the actual meaning of it. How do you know your mind do the thinking? Where is your mind? Have you seen it? Actually when you think practically then you are using your mind but when you are not thinking about the benefit or loss and your emotion is involved in your thinking and then it means thinking with heart.

Oh, it is just the intuitional aspect of the mind that people are referring to as heart. It is again because, intuition does not follow logic, and manifests only through emotions, if at all. Some intuitions do get recognised in verbal form, but meets with lots of Resistance, because of lack of logic.. Some intuitions are called as 'hunch' , 'gut feeling' , etc...

Heart is symbolic of emotions, perhaps because when one gets emotional or excited, the heart beat quickens.
So, thinking with heart means to keep logic on a shelf and address the issue emotionally.
