Ive heard of them being called "Joburgers" or "Jozi-nites".But i know definately that people from Cape Town are "Capetonians" as people from Durban are " Durban-nites".Hope that's what you are looking for.

Well i'm not sure exactly how you are asking the question, but if i understand correctly and you want to know how you speak of a person from Johannesburg, well you would usually call us Joburgers:) (Someone from Cape Town-Capetionian)

Because Johannesburg was in the Transvaal. We always referred to anyone from Transvaal as Vaalies.
