if you wanna utilise time fruitfully i would suggest you to develop some good hobby like gardening, writing, teaching and the likes or take the spiritual route. if you wanna work there are freelancing jobs in the media sector for which you might approach an agency or join some ngo s which you would like or there are book and intellectual clubs for retired people. choose according to your taste

If you are a recipient of Social Security, call them and find out how many hours you can legally work without loosing your benefits. There is a 800 number, but you can wait hours, better contact them on line.

( In NJ) my Dad works part time for a limo service

I also know people that work part time in the kitchen of the local schools

and others that work part time being parts drivers for
car dealerships

it depends on ur financial position. if u have enough for ur old age, then its time u do something for others. join some organisation that is engaged in some social work, as a volunteer.
