it is either your router's ip address, or your address. By default , your router will automatically give out private IP addresses on your home network. the default IP address for your router is 192.168.1.1 and you can type that in your explorer bar to login to your router. After login to your router change whatever settings you need to then log out.

you can't guess an email ID's IP address, because there is a chance that he may be using different pc's to login. And most importantly, every reboot will get him a new IP and hence it's quite difficult to stick with one IP, even if it's retrieved from one of the mails that he might have sent to you.
