You're not choosing the best nights for more specialist nights. It's reall Fri - Sun that these nights are on. Having said that, you can check out The List to see what sort of place you fancy. Mondays at the Buff Club are good - it's the trade night, when all the staff that have been working at the weekend tend to make it their weekend and all go out en masse. They play a whole mix of stuff on a Monday and you are likely to find a bit of dance, house, funk and techno all in there. Wednesday is basically student night - £1 a drink at ll the places that are busy, such as Campus - which is actually like entering hell in my personal opinion, but there isn't much choice on a Wednesday. Though you could try Kushion, it might be a bit more of what you are looking for. Thur, hmm. I would check out THe Tunnel and Cube and see what they have on. Think they are the most likely clubs to have your sort of night on. And Glasgow isn't that scary at all. I am out about 5 times a week and have never had any hassle over the last 10 years or so that I have been going out in town. There's a lot of drunk silly people, but most of them are just loveable idiots, not nutters.

there are none. if you do go out. be very careful, glasgow city centre is not safe at night. i know i live in glasgow. one good thing there are more police about. be safe.
