I am an aussie and very proud of our national cricket team and yes, the supporters of India and Pakistan do get a bit carried away with their fervent one-eyed support BUT that does not make it wrong provided it is not racially discriminating. If those same supporters take a serious look at the history of the game of cricket they will find the aussies went through similar stages in rebuilding and redevelopment. And both those subcontinent teams have the talent to bounce back.Remember you are only as good as your last game.

Very very disappointed indeed. Well, for Pakistan the writing was very much on the wall but I am rather disappointed on India's poor show. Playing on their home soil and with a partisan crowd and with a team studded with stars but as a very disappointed Pakistani fan of Indian cricket greats I would say sub continent stars don't not shine always. I think what we lack is the mental strength and we will keep loosing unless we are mentally strong. Cricket is a science now and you can't win it with good physique only.

Oh yes! you are right, we shall stop being patriotic and accept the realities. both India and Pakistan were looking so good after their first match. both the teams were just looking to sweep out the final and win the Champions trophy but in the end nope of the two could even manage to the semi final or the finals.
well the teams like west indies and new zealand deserve the champions trophy cup as both of the teams did not made any remarks before the trophy like pakistan and india. westindies and newzealand were quite before the cup and just concentrated on the conditions.
Like pakistan and india, sirilanka was too proud. they were too happy to take number one in the champions trophy qualifying games but in the end the faced the results.
We should accept the realities and see what the 4 great teams of the world do and we should try to learn from them and stop being proud.

Nopes i am not disappointed AT ALL. Both team are bound to go... coz they didn't play better.
Pak has their own problems.. it was not a good team work at Champions Trophy. NOT AT ALL..
Indians were higly estimation & they paid the panelty. They are going politics between Selecters/Coach/Captain which is affecting team's performance.
I am an Indian but never hasitates to say right things.. i don't understand why you are taking it too emotional. Its really simple, the team who is going to play well they are bound to win. Thats what happend.
Buddy just chill take care of your emotions, it would help you some day. There are lots of series to come & lots of performance needs to be seen in future.

I m not at all disappointed fatima i never raised hopes for my team, i was very much aware of that they r not going to make this time, with such problems just in the begining of the championship, it was very hard for them to get through that....well still i felt that they tried their best n thts wht they could do ...yes its a game n it happens, teams always suffer such problem n then they come back into form , wht i feel is that asian teams take longer to reboot as compared to other....n example is West Indies. i have still my interest in this trophy as south africa n new Zealands r my favourit teams n would love to watch their game. btw i love my team whether they r hero or zero doesnt matter for me, i have a constant soft cornor for them...sometimes get angry but for veyr short intervel...i m always positive abt my team.and m hopeful they ,ll be in form soon n my wishes r with them.n yes with other asian teams as well.
There is only one sad aspect of this trophy that none of the asian teams could qualify even for samifinals.....one of them should qualify for seimis atleast.but no choice other than consolation .... cheers !!!

i am serious and therefore wanting to answer your sensible question!!
actually your idea is very good for those who don't care for what other people say about them because-
if we'll start saying "ts just a game"then others will think that we are now scared and thus only those people(mentioned above)will continue to say this but for some who care about what others say will blame someone or the other for our loss in the matches and will not follow what u r saying!!
think on it!
