I really should read the article more closely.

" I spoke with African American actor Roy Glenn who auditioned for the voice of Eeyore. Glenn had often been heard on the old Jack Benny program as a buddy of Rochester." I ASSUMED he had the role...
In any case, Eeyore was the answer I was looking for, thanks to all who read or answered.

I am not sure that any were. I checked through every voice actor from the film that had information available, and I found no definitive information that any of them were black. The only one that I don't feel I have conclusively ruled out is Ralph Wright, who voiced Eeyore, so if you're sure someone in the voice cast was black, I suspect it's him.

Just from the sounds of their voices, I thought that Pooh or Kanga might be black. But Pooh was voiced by Sterling Holloway, and I don't think he was black since I read that he had reddish blond hair. Kanga's voice was done by Barbara Luddy, and I couldn't find out much about her, but she's from Montana and she appeared to be playing many roles going back to when black actresses would not have been likely to have such opportunities. For all of the other actors, I similarly didn't find any indication that they were African American, and in many cases I found direct photographic evidence to show that they definitely were not. Through my Wikipedia link, you can get the information on most of the cast members.

I believe it was Sterling Holloway. He did the voice of Pooh Bear.
