I heard you could use firefox for that, too, but it was a dead end. I read what people were saying about how to do it and tried to do the same but nothing ever happened. I don't know what they're doing.

I do this.

I downloaded a free multimedia format converter called SUPER from http://www.erightsoft.net/home.html

The I followed the instructions on another page on the same site here http://www.erightsoft.net/KVk.html

When you have the get_video file that downloads for you, right click and rename it to whateveyoulike.flv then drag and drop it onto the SUPER converter and save it (right click to select destination of the new file) to the format of your choice.

Copy the code next to the YouTube video. Paste that code into a bland folder or onto Notepad. Another, more useful option, is to Rightclick the video and click SAVE TARGET AS and save this in a folder. good luck :-)
