I think it was from the 80s, my brother used to make me watch it when I was wee but no-one else seems to remember it! Am I just cracking up?

Yes 2 cars with TV looking screens in them that were computers that talked.
The drivers were siblings and their parents had died and they were sort of private investigators and also stunt drivers.

pole position as far as i remember was an Arcade game from the 80's, dont remember no TV show though
