No, and I don't see why they should be interfering on the UK/Ireland site. Because of unwarranted and unnecessary interference from some "person" in America I've just received a violation FROM THE AMERICAN SITE which isn't bad considering this is supposed to be the UK/Ireland site. The violation is for alleged PROFANITY - a choice WHICH IS NOT OFFERED AS A VIOLATION on the UK site, and in any case I have not used a single word in my answer that isn't in the Oxford English Dictionary. However, THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS ANSWER IS THIS:::
Because the address from which this violation came is THE AMERICAN ONE, IT WON'T ACCEPT ANY RETURN EMAILS stating that there is an error in the address - dollar signs, the word COUNTRY in brackets, and a Yahoo.com instead of the UK one.. I can't therefore even have a moan at them let alone appeal, so can anyone suggest exactly who I have to screw in order to get a reply from them?
(The address IS correct by the way - I've checked it out!)

The top of my page says: "Yahoo! UK & Ireland Answers", which would explain the number of Brit/Irish responses. Perhaps you wandered into it by mistake. Not that it matters; there are plenty of Americans who participate in the message and answer boards on the Yahoo's UK/Ireland site. BTW, I am originally from Texas--but I live in England now.

American and proud, some Europeans say we are to wasteful and overwieght and all that but I'm thankful that we have the opportunity to do what we want to do. I would like to tell them that are reading this that not all Americans are war and profit driven, these are stereotypes. If you want to know about the U.S.A. come and visit us.

You can set your filter to show only answers from Yahoo Answers for the US and Canada, that might get rid of some of us foreign riff-raff! ;)

It doesn't matter what answers country you sign in to as the questions are rotated around all the answers boards!

You are an American so you are by definition a loser.

I'm as American as Apple Pie... Born and raised in the good ole USA and PROUD of it! If Americans are so bad why does everyone wants stuff from us? Why do they all want to move here and why do accept help from us?
