Hello mate. I must admit I havent heard of the french story but I have heard of the south american pterasaurs. The story goes like this.
A woman comes home one day and notices her cat stalking something. She goes inside and watches from the window. She thinks she sees the cat catch a bird and being kindly goesback out to try and save it. She shoos the cat away and picks up what looks like a birdie. However, on closer examination it looks all wrong. It looks more like a smallish bat but with fur on its back and a very long beak. As luck would have it, her son is home so she calls out to get a camera. He brings it out and takes a few pictures. The animal is in shock but after a while gains its composure and flies away. It lands on her roof, stays for a while then flies away for good.
The photo's were good quality and in focus.
Im going to try and attach one. See what you think.
Cant attach it so I'll email it to you.

If that is the truth, then I should expect to see Nessie and Ogopogo the next time I'm around Scotland and the Okanagan. Better watch yourself when you go outside, you never know when those pesky velociraptors will be in the neighbourhood!

Pure fiction. Pterodactyls were gliders, using thermals in the air to stay aloft. it would have had great difficulty getting very far in a tunnel and unless it was a very short tunnel, would have crash landed somewhere in the tunnel.

I think it was just a rumour that started when Margaret Thatcher opened the EuroTunnel and stepped into France.

What an original piece of fiction! But if you believe that you'll believe anything. I think that they didn't even see a pterodactyl much less the thing you mention.

What do expect from the French? Too much beer and wine on the lunch break, if you ask me.
