I normaly give a couple of quid to the poppy sellers, however I am a member or the RBL so I donate all year round. Its all for a good cause as it helps members of the Armed Forces and there families, irrespective of when they served and length of service. Being ex forces myself, I never know when I may require there assistance. Hopefully never. Any donation is greatfully appreciated.

It is entirely up to the individual.
It depends on your circumstances.
Think of the story Jesus told of the rich man who jangled a heavy purse letting everyone know how much he was putting into the collection while a poor widow put in a penny, but it was all she had.
Who gave more?

as much as you want to give, the more the better as it all goes to the RBLI who look after sick and retired servicemen. after all a lot of people lost their lives so we had a better future
