Are there any college or pro coaches who would even come close to him? The only ones I can think of are Holmgren,Coughlin and Parcells.

What makes you think he is so much more hard-***? I didn't watch 60 mins about him because all they seemed to be promoting it as was he swore. Big deal, they all talk like that.

Charlie Wiess is ok, but off the top of my head I came up with the following coaches to add to some of the ones I agree with on:
Herman Edwards
Marty Schottenhiemer
Nick Saban
Bill Bellicheck
Bob Stoops
Rich Rodriguez
Phil Fulmer
Bill Cower..
Now i'll admit I dont know what youre judging youre critera on, but im certain these gentlemen all rank above Weiss, and they all will light into your @$$ in ways that will make your TV sweat..

As a huge fan of Notre Dame I have to say NO he isnt that big of a hard aass. He cussed wow what coach doesnt. He is a good coach, he is a good recruiter, he is a lot of things but a hard asss he is not. Cowher comes to mind as a hard aass coach, I lived in Pittsburgh for a few years and after watching him explode multiple times over nothing after a win I think all coaches are a few rungs below him in anger.

He doesn't come close to being a hardass. He is fairly passive whenever he talks to the media. He has a few exceptions but he is a coach.

You have to be at Notre Dame or you won't be there long. They demand the best from their coach. That is why they choose only the best. Charlie rocks.
