If anyone has done this lab that involved germinating seeds and nongerminating seeds please help me......do you remember the controls and their purpose.....i know KOH, germinating vs. nongerminating were controls but i need one more and their purposes

I did this lab a few weeks ago. The control was the glass beads in one of the equilibrator to test respiration. The other control was also the peas to see if different types of peas have an effect on respiration. The purpose of KOH was to take in the CO2 so that water can enter the equilibrators. I
