He beat me 2 nights ago. And last night, he gave me a history of him beating his gf when he was much younger. He caught her with another guy. He swore he wouldn't do that 2 me again. Do u think he will never beat me again?

Of course. If it happens once, it will happen again. Leave before it gets any worse.

Addition: I wouldnt say this type of question offends men, I'd say it's the questions that give answers like "because men are idiots" from women........those are lame, and worse for the answers...some ladies dont realize how far gone the male bashing days are behind us.

Anyhow, I think this is a good question and you're more than likely to only get the same type of answer from everyone. Be smart, leave now--forget the feelings; they will only cause you pain in the long run.

leave him NOW. Forget the sweet words he said when it was over and done; forget he is 'against hitting a woman' stuff. LEAVE. Listen to me, get out of this relationship before he raises his hand again. I don't care that you love him. You cannot fix this guy, you cannot change him. And no matter how much he says he loves you, you will be hit again.
Do not leave when he is there. Wait until he is out of the house/apartment; grab what you value most in your live and GO. Do not look back. Do not go back. Just listen to what I will tell you and I know a whole bunch of very smart women will tell you too. I don't care if it was even your fault he hit you....go. Save your life dear.

That's like saying he's not an alcoholic but drinks a case of beer a night then throws up and swears he'll never drink again and the next day he's drinking again. If he beat you and he's had this behavior before why are you still there! Save yourself before it gets worse and it will get worse trust me I've been there.

no trust me he will do it again.
my ex did it to me for 3yrs and every time he always said im sorry i didnt mean it i wont do it again (until the next time.)
you need to get shot of this guy quick dont stay wuth him and become another statistic for domestic violence get out now while you still can.
you deserve so much better no man should ever hit a woman no matter what they've done.
your crazy if you stay with him and think he will never do it again.
he already told you he did it to someone else.

Men are too smart to answer the question. 5th amendment.

And your question doesn't make any sense. He is against beating and he beat you. That sounds to me like he is NOT totally against beating.

He is a loser and you should already have left him. I have been with my wife for 10 years now, and I have never hit her for ANY reason EVER.

If he did it once he'll do it again... Don't listen to his BullSH*T...I'd be looking to lay an A** whippin' on him. And then he tells you its not the 1st time hes done this. There shouldn't even be a question in your mind about what to do. And I would make it a point to tell everybody in your school or anybody that knows him what he did...

A man that will hit you once will hit you again. If you stay don't be surprised when it happens. He needs to take angry management fast. And you need to go into therapy if you stay with him and think he will never hit you again. Get out.

yes he will. It sounds like it not something he can control so get out now before it happens again. If it does happen again make sure you go to the police and get him charged!
