Strenuous physical activity works so well! Get stuck into some 'I really mean it' housework, or go to the gym and have a good workout, go for a run, etc. After you've done any of those things, have a good soak in a fragrant bath and play some calming music! If you don't feel like being strenuous, sit down with pen and paper and write down the reasons for your anger and what you'd like to do to remove those reasons. Sometimes commiting those feelings to paper can make us feel so much better. (then have the bath!!).

exercise, breathe deep, yell/scream, hit a pillow, take a bubble bath, try to get lost doing something listen to music watch a movie
my 2 personal favorites tho -
vent to someone, just let everything out. Spill all the anger you have any resentment, just having someone listen to you solves a lot or writing your feelings down works really well too
or blast the angry music dim the lights get the dark eyeliner out and plan your revenge hehe :)

Well. Try to figure out what is the source of your fury. And let yourself feel pampered for one day. YOU ARE TODAY'S KING!
So you can splurge (retail therapy), kick around the house and turn those furniture upside down, or call a friend, and just SHOUT at him/her (apologize later =)
Before your fury affect anyone, perhaps you might want to "engage your mind before you engage you mouth (or limbs)". As cited in the Rules of Life by Richard Templar, count to ten before you shout at anyone who unfortunately irritated you today. Or simply chant "Baa baa Black Sheep" 10 times.
Hope this helps.

Jules it's not like you. Talk and walk..to get rid of that anger and ask your self why you are angry is it something you have done, something some else has said or done, or is it the Monday morning blues. Sometimes we get mad or sad for no apparent reason...so take it in your stride. Go and mow the lawn or cut the grass.

everyone feels angry at some time or other, normally I find that something or someone has upset me and I'm holding back on it. Try to go back on the last few days or so and figure it out, them give yourself a reasuring pat on the back and explain to yourself its o.k. to feel like this and it won't last long. Then go and do something you really enjoy.

Come and join me, I feel the same. I have fallen out with my husband over which colour to choose for our hallway and upstairs landing, we always disagree, but this time he has chosen to be nasty about it. The poor decorator is just standing there looking from one to the other of us, I refuse to give in on the colour I like. His choice is hideous! Even the decorator winced when he was shown the colour.!!

I like popping the bubbles on the Bubble Wrap stuff. Very heart warming indeed.
Or get those big red rubber ball shaped thingy bobs that you can squeeze. And take it all out. That's a bit more fun

Find something you really dislike and break it.
Or, shut yourself in a room and scream into a pillow.
Both work excellently.
Of course the pop psychology would encourage you to find out the root of your anger and deal with that. I say, smash a plate!
