why do the government allow palm oil to be used in products in the U.k i worked with baby orangutans 4 3 months in Borneo and they are so like us. it seems such a shame that people dont realise even that most shampoos etc have it in and in using them their environment is being destroyed. Does anyone else think we should be doing more for them? i really want to help but i dont know how? any ideas?

the rainforest is cleared for palm oil plantations to be planted so they have nowhere to live and this means that they have nowhere to find food so they die or are shot for being on the 'so called' owners land. How can i help get the government to stop using palm oi when there are many alternatives
