EVAPORATION- molecues of a liquid gain enough energy and vibrate vigorously enough to break free from the surface and become a gas.
BOILING- molecues gain enough heat energy from heating and start to vibrate vigorously and break free from the liquid to become a gas, at the temperature called boiling point.
DIFFERENCES-
EVAPORATION occurs at the surface of the liquid only but BOILING is throughout the entire liquid.
EVAPORATION can occur at temperatures below boiling point but BOILING occurs only at boiling point.

Evaporation is the process wherein a liquid changes its state to gas (when the liquid reaches its boiling point). Boiling is the process of heating a substance until it reaches its boiling point. Boiling is usually done to heat liquids but evaporation occurs during boiling (most of the times).

Evaporation is just where the dryness in the air is sucking in all the wetness it can from everywhere. Boiling, is changing water into water vapor, and then those little water molecules evaporate eventually while they are floating around in the air.

It's to do with pressure.
Evaporation takes place when the liquid pressure and atmosphere pressure are equal. It happens due to the environment conditions.
Boiling is the process of applying heat energy to change the pressure within the liquid to match the atmospheric pressure so that the liquid can evaporate.

its pretty much the same thing except that boiling is when the water is heated to 100 degrees celcius and goes from a liquid to a gaseous state quicker than evaporation where it happens over a gradual period.

evaporation is when water actually disappears and dries, while boiling is where water is at its point where it is bumbling, if it is boiled long enough it will evaporate.
