Finally, someone with some sense see's that. Thank you, dieselpupp for noticing how easy their schedule is. Not to take anything from the Bears but, they've played no worthy opponents.

I don't know how many times we've heard this argument against the Bears being any good... it's pretty weak, just like the comparisons to the 1985 Bears. And you'd be happy to see your team not just winning games, but blowing out 2/3 of their opponents and winning even when they "should" lose after 10 years of mediocrity being a word that signified an improved season. They really are good though... wake up... I mean they were 11-5 last year with no offense. This is almost all the same starters except Grossman is back and Mike Brown is out for the year. Come on now... what else do they need to prove?

Remember the 1972 Dolphins? They went undefeated and their fans are still talking about it. Their schedule was one of the softest since 1950. In fact, 99% of the schedules in the NFL since 1950 have been more difficult. The Dolphins opponents in 1972 had a combined winning percentage of .396. Plus they had several close calls against weaker opponents. The fact is they won.
You can only play the teams on your schedule, and until somebody beats the Bears, their fans have a right to brag.
And, no, I'm NOT a Bears fan. I just know a dominant team when I see one. So, go ahead and be proud, Bears fans, while you can. It won't last forever.

A soft schedule is a bad argument. It's like saying that the Bears have been winning because they're better than all the teams they played...that's the same thing, right? People will be skeptical about the Bears when they're 10-0. It's just the way Chicago teams are treated...like a baby treats a diaper. Hell, the Sox didn't even get alot of credit for destroying everyone in the '05-'06 season.

Don't paint every Bears fan with the same brush.I'm a Bears fan who DOESN'T think they are great. They do need a more consistent running game and I feel they're cornerbacks could do a better job. However, they DON'T choose who they can play and no team who's ever won the Super Bowl has ever said"well,we played a pansy schedule".Pretty or not,s*** team or not,you won. That's what you're paid to do,whether you're playing the Cowboys or the Oak Ridge Boys.Have a nice day.

I hear ya, brother. I think it is cool for them to be undefeated and feel invincible but they must know there are some issues with that team, like scoring points on offense and playing with poise in the second half of the season. The fans need to remember it is a 16-game season and nobody remembers who had what record in the first half.

I see your point, but I don't really see that many Bears fans telling everyone how great their team is. The season isn't even half over. Don't worry, the Bears will be challenged in the second half of the season.

Most of the TRUE Bears fans (the ones who were fans when they sucked) aren't the ones bragging that bad...it's mainly all the bandwagon fans who don't really know what they're talking about...all they know is the Bears are winning....they don't know anything about the teams they are playing, etc.
But I do agree with you mostly.

Because Bears fans are about as loyal as they come. Even when the team is doing poorly they tough it out and sit in near freezing weather to cheer on their team, so when the team does well it is a true treat for them and they deserve to give the team a shout and show pride for a good job. GO CHICAGO!

Bears are winning and that's all that matters...Don't forget where the Bears are from CHICAGO! so you best believe that you will hear about the Bears over and over and over and over again...even if they lose which they wont> US fans will still be talking about our Bears because we are loyal fans. By the way the schedule who cares?! If it was your favorite team winning you wouldn't be up here asking this question. DA BEARS!!
