The world as we know it would be over. All records would be lost - financial, personal etc. Since computers control voice networks we wouldn't be able to talk to one another. It would just be one big mess....

I would go back to bed. The world was analog before computers and they got along just fine. It would be a major adjustment and the world would be thrown into chaos for a while. I would hit "control alt delete" one last time and get drunk. Some people would care less because they don't let machines rule their lives. You would just try to enjoy what is left of your life before you are dragged out into the street and killed for your food. Iraq would seem like paradise compared to what would happen. Think of the whole world like New Orleans after Kristina. The low lifes would make it miserable for everyone with the good people resorting to desperate actions to save their lives. The rural people would be robbed by roamers that would steal before asking. The cities would be the worse place to be. I would try to protect myself till the last minute but it would be futile. We had a blackout last spring and I can tell you that it is not safe outdoors during a time like that. People are not civilized really. This is the true measure of civility and New Orleans is a preview. What would happen to all the folks in prisons? Don't even think about this because praying won't help you when you are at the mercy of people.

Everything would come to a stand still. So many things rely on computer now, especially bank, you would not be able to do anything financially. As far as personal use, I would probably have to wash walls and windows and all that stuff that no one really wants to do. I would probably take lots of naps. Wow I really hope it never happens I get tired just thinking of all the other things I would have to do...

I would move by my aunt in the country and help on her farm. Computers do not sustain life on earth we will be OK regardless of how much we rely on them.
