It's quite simple really. Your perception of the world and life in general is influenced heavily by your experiences and your set of values. In short, everything that you learn from parents, from schools and from your peers up to the age of say 20, forms your perception of the world.

Simply, Yes that is why there are som many conflicts in the world. One person or group of people think that they are right and another person or people disagree. Therefore, arguments, disagreements all the way to all out war. Religion or polotics are examples of one persons or peoples perception of the world against anothers.

Our personalities vary, similar to another in some way but never completely the same. Because everyone's personal experiences differ, and the values we were instilled with and/or adopted for ourselves differ.
All this minute differences make up the individuality that is unique to ourselves. This in turn affects the way that we think, feel and react to external factors.

Perception is relative to the conditioning and personality of the perceiver. We can say that we perceive according to our senses conditioning. Given that we each have different conditioning, it makes sense to say we perceive the world differently.
