actually it's a bad habit of mine. I tend to be quite judgemental based on first impression and assume a lot of things from first glance. I'm trying to change that.

No I have had enough training to know a ruby, garnet, spinel, are all red and might be confused without doing tests
the crown jewels was meant to be a Ruby but was found to be a Red Spinel
First glance will lead you way off track

Never ever assume stands for:a ss u and me.
i never assume, before i get more information that is important to me.First impressions may make a foundation, but what's behind the person or object or situation. That in the end will help me to decide:not the first glance,
That to me is far to shallow and superficial.

Honestly, yes, most of the time. I know it's probably not always a good thing but I think I do it because I'm a very cautious and I tend not to trust.

Not at all. I always look further especially if what I see at first glance makes me curious. Following that I listen carefully too.

Absolutely not. I've lived long enough to know from experience that most things or people are what they seem on the surface. Judging a book by its cover can get you in a lot of trouble.

Yes sometimes I do but not always. Usually I prefer to wait and have a clear picture of a situation or a person.

unfortunately i tend to categorize people at first glance. i mean i look at someone and i try to figure out whether he / she is intelligent or not only by looking at his / her face (do i make any sense?, lol)
